United States Army 176th Engineer Brigade Unit Crest (Quod Incepimus Conficiemus)

Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) were worn by the 176th Engineer Brigade. Their motto is Quod Incepimus Conficiemus which translates to What We Have Begun We Will Finish. The 176th Engineer Brigade is part of the Texas National Guard. The sword is a symbol of the Brigade's combat readiness while on active duty in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Unit crests are worn on the Army Class A Service Green and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
