What is bamboo Fiber?
If you have not seen or touched bamboo fibre products:
Bamboo feels like very fine wool without the heat or like brushed silk only softer and
without the clamminess. It is most similar to cotton, only finer.
It is obtained from fast-growing bamboo with an environmental impact that is tiny compared
to any of the textiles I just likened it to. The amazing thing is that it is actually better than any,
because of it's antibacterial properties - there is much less build-up of odour-creating nasties,
so it smells much less.
Soft and smooth, but tough
Bamboo fibre is flexible, slippery and smooth. It has excellent lateral and vertical strength
and is as durable as cotton so your normal washing cycle is fine.
Hygroscopic and breathable
Bamboo fibre has proved to be the best textile product when it comes to moisture absorption,
dampness release and ventilation. With its unparalleled microstructure filled with tiny gaps and
micro-holes at intersecting surfaces, bamboo fibre has much better moisture absorption and
ventilation properties. Bamboo fibre garments effectively absorb and evaporate sweat in split
seconds making them feel cool in summer, dry in winter and always comfortable. In hot weather
apparel made from bamboo keeps temperature near your skin lower compared to other
textile materials.
Natural and environmentally friendly
Bamboo fibre is a refined textile product of natural bamboo which is able to grow up to 3 feet
overnight making it the fastest-growing renewable resource. Bamboo produces more oxygen
and absorbs more greenhouse gases than a comparable tree plantation. As a textile material
it is fully biodegradable and can be completely decomposed in the soil by micro-organisms
without environmental pollution.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

3. Separate fabrics and colors when washing.
