This portable reading table was custom designed and built for Temple Bat Yahm in Newport Beach, California, who holds shabbat services outside during the dry months. They needed a portable podium on wheels that could also be used for torah reading. We have noticed they are not the only synagogue that needs to condense the size or number of furnishings, but still to have an inspirational piece that they can be proud of. Each folding bimah can be custom carved or no carving at all, dark or light finish. The painted grape leaf pattern was carved on this piece to match the portable aron kodesh that Synagogue Furniture also built for the outdoor service at Bat Yahm.
