United States Army 17th Cavalry Regiment Unit Crest

Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 17th Cavalry Regiment. Approved for wear in 1923 this units motto is Forward. Originally constituted in Fort Bliss, TX, this regiment is now found all across the army within multiple brigades. Unit crests are worn on the Army Service Uniform (ASU) and Army Class A Uniform (Greens).
