United States Army 1st Cavalry Regiment Unit Crest (Animo Et Fide)

This unit crest measures 1 1/4 inches in height and displays the regiment's motto “Animo Et Fide” which is Latin for Courage and Faith. The unit's special designation is “First Regiment of Dragoons” and was first organized in 1833.
