This is a magnificent vintage Navajo gargantuan turquoise and silver squash blossom necklace. This piece contains 17 outstanding large turquoise stones with the largest measuring around 1" X 3/8". Surrounding the stones are phenomenal silver shells, hand carved leaves and flowers. The silver works on this necklace is absolutely remarkable. The naja pendant measures around 3-1/4" X 3-1/4". Resting throughout the entire necklace are absolutely tremendous and large round silver beads that each measure around 3/8" in diameter. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+ . Signed by Navajo artist, Jeanie Dickson . The length of the necklace measures around 35". Sturdy 305 grams.
