United States Army 314th Military Intelligence Battalion Unit Crest (Sapientia Et Veritas)

Criteria: This item is the unit crest of the 314th Military Intelligence Battalion. The unit's motto, "Sapientia Et Veritas," is printed in silver letters across the black scroll and translates as, "Wisdom And Truth." The colors light blue and silver allude to the unit's Military Intelligence designation. The squares simulate a chessboard, referring to the strategic nature of intelligence operations. Also known as distinctive unit insignia, this item is worn on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
