United States Army 3rd Medical Command Unit Crest (Front Line Surgeons)

Criteria: This item is the unit crest of the 3rd Medical Command. The unit's motto, "Front Line Surgeons," is printed across the bottom of the design and succinctly encapsulates the unit's primary mission. The colors maroon and white allude to the unit's Medical designation. The laurel sprigs commemorate the unit's World War II service while the scimitars represent the unit's Southwest Asia service. Also called distinctive unit insignia, this item is designed for wear on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
