United States Army 5th Infantry Division ACU Patch

Criteria: This item is the Army Digital Camouflage (ACU) Uniform patch for the 5th Infantry Division. The patch is a subdued black diamond approximately 2 1/2" tall by 1 1/2" wide. The insignia was adopted by the unit after its arrival in France during World War I and was chosen due to the slogan for Diamond Dye: "It Never Runs." The diamond is formed of two isosceles triangles and represent the strongest structural formation. Also called shoulder sleeve insignia, this item is backed by hook-and-loop fasteners and is sold individually.
