United States Army 6th Cavalry Brigade Unit Crest

Criteria: This item is the unit crest, or distinctive unit insignia, for the 6th Cavalry Brigade. The main design of the crest features a bucking horse atop a six pointed star alluding to the unit's numerical designation . The horse is symbolic of the cavalry while the six pointed star is a traditional heraldic symbol of leadership and achievement. The pentagonal background commemorates the unit's World War II service in Europe. This item is worn on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
