United States Air Force Combat Rescue Officer Badge

Criteria: The Combat Rescue Officer Badge is worn by Air Force personnel assigned as Combat Rescue Officers(CROs). The CRO specialty includes direct combatant command and control of Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) operations. CROs conduct strategic, operational and tactical level planning, provides battle staff expertise, manage theater personnel recovery operations and employ in the conduct of combat operations.
