The Nike Air Air Jordan 9 Retro ' Statue ' is based on the famous bronze sculpture of Michael Jordan outside the United Center in Chicago. Built during his first retirement, the statue depicts Jordan wearing the Air Jordan 9 — a sneaker he never played in for the Bulls. Released in August 2015, the sneaker features a white leather upper with bronze accents including a sprinkled bronze midsole.
