The bear was sacred to Odin. As well, the term berserker comes from the old Norse words ber-serker which means bear-shirt or bare-chested, men who fought in a frenzy and without armor.

Material: Solid twisted bronze with solid bronze bear heads. 
Neck Circumference* Sizes Available: 33cm (13") through 50cm (19.7")

* The proper way to measure is the actual circumference of your neck.  The silversmith will then size the length of the torc and the opening of the torc based on that circumference.
