This is the Maryland National Guard Meritorious Service Ribbon. It is awarded to an individual of the Maryland National Guard for recognition of acts of achievement or service superior or exceptional distinction to the Maryland Military Department or the State of Maryland. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by bronze and silver oak leaf clusters.
