Modern Mechitza with One Way Mirror
Bass Furniture designed and built this mechitzah with a contemporary profile. The wood base flows into the angled glass, maximizing the reflective property of the glass from the men's side. The glass is set for women to view the chapel from the sitting position with great transparency. The panels are set on wheels for portability. They can easily be moved or stored.
Portable Custom Mechitza Panels
Gabriel designed this modern mechitza with a flowing profile. The angled one-way mirror fully exploits the reflective properties of the glass when lit from above. The high-quality material is the best solution for a synagogue or bet midrash looking for a fully reflective material from one side and transparent from the other side. The smooth profile gives a nice weight and stability for a portable or permanent structure. The mechitzah was originally designed and built for the Margolin Hebrew Academy in Memphis, Tennessee. All mechitza panels can be custom designed with original profiles and various top materials for a range of budgets and functional needs. Price shown for wood base and frame only, top "semi-transparent" material will be added to the final price.
