Criteria:

This is the Nevada National Guard Commendation Medal Ribbon. Awarded to a member of the NVANG below the rank of General, who distinguishes themselves by heroism, meritorious achievement, or meritorious service which has benefited the Nevada National Guard or State of Nevada. Subsequent awards are denoted by oak leaf clusters. Awards for heroism are denoted by a single bronze "V" device.
