This is the New Mexico National Guard Outstanding Unit Citation (with Gold Frame). Awarded to members of the New Mexico National Guard who is part of a unit that has exceeded expectations and preformed admirably. The service of the unit must clearly show that the unit went above and beyond the service of other units. In certain circumstances, a "V" device will be awarded for valor.
