Criteria:

This is the New York National Guard Desert Storm Service Medal Ribbon. The New York National Guard Desert Storm Service Medal Ribbon is awarded to members of the New York National Guard who served on federal active duty in the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm only from August 1990 through June 1991.  Eligible members would have received the Kuwait Liberation Medal given by the government of Kuwait.
