Portgas D. Ace is the adopted older brother of Luffy and son of the deceased Pirate King: Gol D. Roger and his lover, Portgas D. Rouge. Portgas D. Ace is a young, muscular, and handsome man and he is known for wearing nothing on his upper body and only black boots, knee-length shorts, and his trademark orange hat. His orange hat has two blue smileys: one frowning and one smiling and a string of beads. The hat has two long orange side straps that hang down with a medallion of a bull's skull.
