Virgin Islands National Guard Distinguished Service Medal Ribbon

This is the Virgin Islands National Guard Distinguished Service Medal Ribbon. Awarded to members of the Virgin Islands National Guard who perform an act ,or acts, that are far beyond the call of duty. This act, or acts, may have put one in grave danger and must show a great deal of bravery for this award to apply. For subsequent awards, numerals are to be worn on the ribbon.
