Virgin Islands National Guard Meritorious Service Medal Ribbon

This is the Virgin Islands National Guard Meritorious Service Medal Ribbon. Awarded to members of the VI National Guard  who accomplish tasks that greatly benefit the VI National Guard. Furthermore, heroic acts will also qualify one for this award - especially if the act, or acts is not deemed worthy enough to garner the VI National Guard Distinguished Service Medal. For subsequent awards numerals are to be affixed to the ribbon.
