Wooden 30" Round Norse Viking Shield - Hjalmar Nordic Legend.
The shield is constructed from glued planks. The front of the shield is covered in canvas and painted.
It has a 12 Gage steel boss on the front and trim in rawhide with forged tasks.
The back of the shield has the planks exposed.
The shield has an oak center grip that is riveted onto the shield. It also has two oak wood bands on the back of the shield for reinforcement.
Wonderfully hand painted!
Includes a leather shoulder strap that goes diagonal across the shield.
